University of Southampton
I was commissioned to produce a set of marketing materials for the University of Southampton, one the world’s leading research institutions. As part of the information gathering process, I interviewed the academic unit heads and leading researchers. The result included an ‘Introduction to Medicine’ brochure, to be used with funders, research partners, undergraduates and postgraduates. We also produced a PhD publication aimed at the highly competitive area of biomedical research.
Skills for Health
This is a long–standing client. I have produced a wide range of communication and research publications, ranging from websites, newsletters, case studies to event reports, intelligence reports and much more. The client was "absolutely delighted with the outcomes" and goes on to say, "Rosie is an accomplished writer, able to convey complex messages to a wide range of audiences with clarity and flair."
Firewise
This is a fire safety website for children aged 3–6 and 7–12 years, commissioned by the Office of Deputy Prime Minister. I used a variety of methods including comic strips, games, and quizzes — all with the aim of communicating a serious fire prevention message in a fun way. No mean feat but fantastic fun.
Tefal
This campaign was a joy to work on. Beginning with a lateral approach to the healthy features of the product, I worked on words in a playful way to grab the buyer’s attention. The result was a set of leaflets and product stands that communicated the health benefits of the Juice Master.
British Gas
A brochure which encompassed everything British Gas means to its customers, with an engaging and informative format. The client remarked that I produced some of the best copy they had seen.
Letsure
The project began with a marketing audit of the company’s existing material. With the agency, I produced the copy platform which rolled out across a suite of marketing literature. The finished product was a collection of 15 brochures with a consistent message tailored for customers in different market segments.
